On the 1st day of our adventure tour, we will start early to experience a beautiful sunrise on the Windward Side of the island. The hike to our sunrise spot will be short but steep. The best part of the trail is definitely the panoramic views. Once we reach the top, you’ll get sweeping vistas of Kahana Bay, the rugged Ko‘olau Mountains, and the endless Pacific Ocean. It’s a picture-perfect spot, so don’t forget your camera! After enjoying the sunrise, we will hike further up the mountain. Climbing up the ridge will introduce everyone to the Hawaii ridge hiking experience, with some scrambling and breathtaking views.&nbsp; After our hike, we will stop at a local coffee shop with views to the ocean, for a complimentary coffee of your choice.&nbsp; Distance 3 miles (5km)Elevation Gain 1500 feet (450m) Hiking Time: 4h

Crouching Lion Sunrise

Day 1

This hiking route has everything from the jungle to hidden waterfalls and craters! It is one of Oahu’s hidden gems. From the first moment, we will enter the forest you will feel that you are transported to a different world. On this day you will learn how to hike in wet, muddy conditions, cross streams, climb through wet rocks, and use your hands to hold onto trees and roots. We’ll pass not one, not two, but three waterfalls! We’ll climb alongside the waterfalls using some ropes—it’s not too tough, and you’ll feel like an adventurer.&nbsp; Once we make it to the top, we’ll get to look inside Ka’au Crater. It’s a super cool, lush green crater that makes you feel like you’re in the middle of a Jurassic Park movie. After we hit the crater, we’ll head up a ridge that offers sweeping views of the island. You can see from the Koolau Mountains all the way to the ocean. Trust me, it’s breathtaking and totally worth the climb! Three Waterfalls Jungle Exploration

Day 2

The Olomana Hiking Trail, often called "Three Peaks," is one of Oahu’s most scenic and challenging hikes. It offers stunning views of the island, but it is also known for its steep ridges and narrow pathways. Olomana Peak is on the bucket list for many visitors. However, this is a tough hike. We will gain 1600 feet of elevation gain in 2 &nbsp;miles. The upper portion of the hike contains several scrambling parts with ropes. The final obstacle before Olomana is a 15-foot wall that we’ll have to climb. With proper guidance, everyone will be able to climb up with no problem. Reaching the top of the 1st peak, Olomana you’ll be rewarded with a 360-degree view. Distance 4 miles Elevation Gain 1600 feet (500m) Hiking time: 4-5 hours

Day 3

On our 4th day together we will finish with an easier trail the Pink Pillbox Hike (also known as the Maili Pillbox Hike) on Oahu’s west side. This is a fun, relatively easy hike with some incredible views, and the best part—it ends at a bright pink World War II-era pillbox! Once we’re up there, you’ll get breathtaking views of Waianae, Makaha Valley, and the entire leeward coast. This hike is known as a great spot for sunsets, so if we are lucky we might catch the sky lighting up with colors over the ocean. It’s definitely one of the best places on the island to see the sun go down. As a bonus from November to May, we might even see humpback whales playing around in the water. Morning: We will drive from Santander to Covadonga Lakes to start our journey. Covadonga Lakes, also known as "Lagos de Covadonga," is a stunning natural area located in the Picos de Europa National Park. Arriving at Covadonga we will take a short bus drive up to the mountains, where we will hike a loop around the two lakes Ercina and Enol. After we return to Covadonga we take a short visit to the Royal Cave which is a beautiful historic site, where the Christian Reconquest of Spain began in the 8th century.​Distance: 6.4 km (4 miles) with 200m (660ft) of elevation gainTime: 3 hours​Afternoon: Not far from Covadonga is the charming little town of Cangas de Onis. This is a perfect place for us to try&nbsp;traditional Asturian dishes like "fabada" (a hearty bean stew), "cachopo" (a breaded and fried steak dish), and "sidra" (Asturian cider).The town is most famous for its Roman Bridge, "Puente Romano," which dates back to the 14th century and spans the Sella River. It's an iconic symbol of the region and provides a picturesque setting for taking photos.​Meals included: Dinner

Covadonga Lakes and Cangas de Onis

Morning: We will start our day with a beautiful drive through the winding mountain road to the most famous route in Picos de Europa, the Las Cares hiking trail.The trail runs along the Cares River and cuts through the park's heart. One of the highlights of the Las Cares Trail is the Cares Gorge, where the path follows the narrow and winding canyon carved by the river. The rock walls rise dramatically on either side, creating a unique, awe-inspiring atmosphere.The terrain is mostly well-maintained and relatively flat.We will not hike the whole length of the trail which is 7 miles one way, but instead, we will hike halfway until we reach the tunnels and then return.​Distance: 11 km (7 miles) with 430m (1400ft) of elevation gainTime: 4 hours​Afternoon: After our hike, we will drive to our next destination, Potes town.Potes is a charming town and is known for its breathtaking natural surroundings and delicious Cantabrian cuisine including cocido lebaniego (a hearty stew), quesada pasiega (a type of cheesecake), and orujo (a traditional Spanish liquor).Potes is a medieval town with well-preserved architecture and a historic center filled with narrow, cobblestone streets and charming buildings which worth some exploration.​Meals included: Breakfast &amp; Dinner

Las Cares Route and Potes Town

Morning: After a short 30-minute drive in the morning, we will arrive at Fuente Dé. Riding the cable car in Fuente Dé is a thrilling and unforgettable experience that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Picos de Europa mountain range. The ascent in the cable car is relatively steep, and you'll quickly gain elevation as you leave the valley floor far below. The cable car journey is approximately 4 minutes each way. The upper station of the cable car is located at an altitude of around 1,823 meters (5,981 feet) above sea level.This is where we start our hiking journey to Horcados Rojos Peak.​It's time for a hike! The Horcados Rojos Route is one of the most iconic hikes in the Picos de Europa National Park. This route offers a thrilling and rewarding trek through rugged terrain with panoramic viewpoints on the way. The top of the mountain peak is located at an elevation of approximately 2,506 meters (8,224 feet) and offers a stunning perspective of the surrounding peaks, including the famous Naranjo de Bulnes (also known as Picu Urriellu).&nbsp;On the way back we can make a stop at the popular Cabaña Verónica mountain hut for refreshments or snacks. After we ride back down the cable car to Fuente Dé we drive back to Potes town to spend another evening before the next day's journey.​Distance: 11km (7 miles) with 750m (2500ft) of elevation gainTime: 5-6 hoursMeals included: Breakfast &amp; Dinner

Horcados Rojos Peak via Fuente Dé Cable Car

Morning: Get ready for a tough day! Our journey to Collado Jermoso will begin at Fuente Dé, but this time we will not ride the cable car, instead we will climb up the mountain on a long switchback. This trek offers spectacular views, rugged terrain, and the opportunity to experience the natural beauty of Picos de Europa. This will be the biggest climb we do on our trip, but the amazing views will compensate for our effort. After a few hours of hiking, we will make it to the cabin which stands around 2100 meters high. It is perched on a rocky shelf, offering awe-inspiring panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and valleys.​Distance: 9km (5.5 miles) with 1400m (4500ft) of elevation gainTime: 5-6 hours. Afternoon: The good news, when you arrive at the mountain hut, you will be able to eat a good bocadillo (sandwich) or even enjoy a cold beer. You will be able to rest, take a short hike, or just sit and watch the mountain goats playing around.If we are lucky we will be able to see a beautiful sunset over the jagged cliffs for an unforgettable experience.&nbsp;​Meals included: Breakfast &amp; Dinner

Hiking from Fuente Dé to Refugio Collado Jermoso

Morning: After breakfast, we will depart the cabin and head back towards Fuente Dé. This time we will return in a slightly different way for a change of environment and views. We will even hike for a couple of miles in some parts of the Camino de Santiago trail before we get back to the trailhead.​Distance: 11km (7 miles) with 300m (1000ft) of elevation gainTime: 5 hours Afternoon: Relaxation at Las Hermida Balneario After our hike, we will drive to Las Hermida Balneario where we will relax in the thermal baths. Las Hermida Balneario is known for its healing thermal waters, so after our hiking days in the mountains we will take advantage of this rejuvenating experience.We will spend the night at Arenas de Cabrales town where we will enjoy some special Asturian local food.&nbsp;​Meals included: Breakfast &amp; Dinner​

Refugio Collado Jermoso to Fuente Dé

Day 5

Morning: This is our last day so we will take it easy with a ride to Bulnes town. Bulnes is a charming and picturesque town nestled in the heart of the Picos de Europa National Park. This remote and idyllic village is known for its stunning mountainous surroundings, its isolation from the rest of the world, and its unique transportation system. One of the remarkable features of Bulnes is its inaccessibility by road. The village can only be reached by hiking, on horseback, or by taking a funicular railway, making it an alluring destination for nature enthusiasts and adventurers.We will use the funicular de Bulnes railway to get us to the town. The village is a delight to explore, with its traditional Asturian architecture. Stone houses with slate roofs line the narrow, winding streets, creating a charming and rustic atmosphere. It's a great place to immerse yourself in the local culture and enjoy the tranquility of village life.​Afternoon: If you are a cheese lover, you might enjoy our last stop. Arenas de Cabrales is a small town known for its rich cheese-making traditions, particularly Cabrales cheese. We will visit a cheese cave to learn more about the cheese-making traditions and we can even try some of these delicious (at least for some) cheese types with some cider.After this short visit to the cave, we will have a launch in town before we head back to Santander. Estimated arrival in Santander around 4 pm-5 pm.​Meals included: Breakfast

Afternoon: We start our hike in the village on a trail that leads up to the famous peak called Secler's Stone, where the sun rises twice. Yes, you read it well, the sun rises twice: it appears on the horizon already in the early morning, followed by a period of time where it hides behind the Secler’s Stone, and only rises again in the late morning so high that it illuminates entirely the village. We will have an exciting hike straight up the mountain, then loop around to visit the Student's Cave and return to the village. Trip distance: 10.5km (6.5 miles) about 5h - 6h.

Arriving at Torocko Village & Secler's Stone Hike

Morning: Are you ready for your first water adventure?Experience the thrill of river rafting with our local guides on the Aries River. This beautiful area offers some exciting and fun rapids for a great experience. Just a short 20 minutes drive from the village and we will be on our way to paddle down the Aries River.Doesn't matter if you are a beginner in the water, our guide will make sure you'll have fun!​Afternoon: The village and the surroundings of Torockó deserve a bigger exploration. But we will do this in a more fun way, by riding e-bikes. The history of the village dates back a long time: already in Roman times, active guard duty was performed on the mountain towering over the village, based on artifacts found on the ridge. Later, Slavs settled down in the valley, from whom the name Torockó originated: Toroszko comes from the word Troszk (ironstone). The word itself testifies to the ancient craft of the Torockó villagers. The village that once boasted of its city title, was known for being Transylvania’s metallurgy and metal processing center; iron was mined for a long time until all natural resources were exhausted. The mountain that towers over the village, Székelykő, was named after the Szekler villagers of Kézd, who saved the village during the Mongol invasion, and in return received the standing hilltop castle and its surroundings. In 1999, Torockó won one of the most important European architecture prizes, the Europa Nostra Award, in recognition of the village’s cultural heritage protection​Trip distance: 13 km (8 miles) about 3h - 4h.

River rafting and E-biking to Trascau Fortress

Morning: Our cooking gulyas soup experience is a must-do for any hiker on our tours! Enjoy a traditional Hungarian soup prepared with authentic ingredients by a local chef, for a truly local experience that you won't want to miss.​Late Afternoon: We are heading to Turda Gorge (Cheile Turzii), a natural reserve on the Hășdate River. The canyon, formed through the erosion of the Jurassic limestone of the mountain, is 2 900 m long and the walls have heights reaching 300 m.This via ferrata route is medium difficulty, but in exchange, it has the most spectacular views. You can see the Cheile Turzii gorge from above, and traverse Hili’s cave also. At the end of our ascent, we will arrive at the big cross on the hill, called the Cross of Sandu, where we will stay a bit longer, to admire the landscape.​Length of via ferrata route: 350mVertical climb: 200mDifficulty: C -&nbsp; medium.&nbsp;(Grades are from A (very easy) to E (extreme).)*Requirements minimum age 11, weight 80lbs (36kg)

Via Ferrata Sunset Edition

Morning: Get ready to discover one of the most spectacular tourist attractions in Romania: The ancient salt mines of Turda. Salina Turda is the world’s deepest underground entertainment park and museum! Salt has been extracted from the hills of Turda for more than two millennia. The chambers, tunnels, and galleries form a palace of salt hundreds of meters into the guts of the earth. After being refurbished, in 2008, the mines of Turda became a main tourist attraction, and a must-see for anyone passing through these parts.The mines are up to 120m deep with a constant temperature of around 10°C-12°C&nbsp; (52°F to 53.5°F) all year round. Afternoon: This will be a chill afternoon to recover from the previous day's activities. You can explore the town, do some shopping or just enjoy your free time. We can even try the local-style barrel hot tub to relax our muscles!

Turda Salt Mine

Cheia is an old and very well-hidden village in the Apuseni mountains, next to the Ramet Gorge. Today, in the village there are just 3 houses that are populated, the rest are just abandoned and slowly taken back by nature.&nbsp; Gabriel and his family decided a couple of years ago to move from Bucharest, the capital of Romania, to Cheia. He restored two old houses in a traditional way, they remained authentic and had no electricity, the road to their home is a small path through the forest, crossing springs, so the only available way to get there is by foot or by horse. &nbsp;On our trip, we will traverse the Ramet Gorge and visit Gabriels’ camping to drink a cold lemonade or beer and listen to some interesting stories from Gabriel.&nbsp;​Trip distance: 6km (3.8 miles) about &nbsp;6h.

Ramet Gorge Traverse to Cheia (hidden village)

On our last day, we will do a morning waterfall hike which is the perfect way to finish our journey in Romania. This easy 2-mile hike will take us to a stunning waterfall called Vanatarile Ponorului, where you can take in the natural beauty and fresh air.After the hike, we will return to Torocko where you can spend the rest of your day walking through town and do your last-minute shopping before heading back to Cluj Napoca.​Trip distance: 3 km (1.8 miles) about &nbsp;1h-2h.
